The talented lead singer and saxophonist, Jeffery Mosher, is joined by a superb horn section featuring Jody Lyne on trumpet, Eric Landry with the trombone and Sean Weber playing lead saxophone and EWI. The band’s rhythm section features Brad Conrad on guitar, Ian Mosher on keyboards, Mike Farrington Jr. on bass and Damien Moynihan on drums. The band has always drawn on the wealth of talented players in the region, especially those with a love of funk music.
The musicians represent years of playing, touring and recording with bands and backing up ECMA and Juno award winning artists. They have experienced some memorable sit-ins with David Foster, Nathan East, Dan Akroyd and Matt Mays. Recently the band have been performing with Matt Andersen and featured at festivals throughout the country and Europe. The Mellotones are among the most skillful and in-demand musicians on the east coast. They play and live music full time as performers and educators.
