ANNOUNCING: Nova Scotia Music Week 2025 in Yarmouth/Kespukwitk

(March 6, 2025 – Halifax/Kjipuktuk) Music Nova Scotia is thrilled to announce that this year’s Nova Scotia Music Week (NSMW) will take place in Yarmouth/Kespukwitk from October 23-26, 2025. Now in its 28th year, NSMW invites music fans across the province and beyond to celebrate Nova Scotia’s world-class artists and music industry professionals with four days of music festival performances, conference programming, and an annual awards ceremony.

"Live music, incredible talent, and a community that loves to celebrate—it's the perfect combination," says Neil MacKenzie, CEO of the Yarmouth & Acadian Shores Tourism Association (YASTA). "We're beyond excited to welcome Nova Scotia Music Week back in 2025 and showcase our province through music."

"After a successful NSMW in Yarmouth in 2023, we’re incredibly grateful to the outstanding host committee, led by Neil Mackenzie from YASTA, for welcoming us back. We expect this to be our biggest year yet," says Allegra Swanson, Executive Director of Music Nova Scotia. "Yarmouth’s exceptional hosting sets it apart as a premier destination for NSMW. We’re thrilled to continue bringing NSMW to different regions of the province, not only to support the growth of the music industry but also to boost tourism during the shoulder season."
