Music Nova Scotia announces NSMW 2022 Conference, early bird delegate passes on sale now!
(June 16, 2022) Music Nova Scotia is pleased to announce the “Future Builder” Conference. Nova Scotia Music Week celebrates its 25th anniversary with something for everyone. Emerging artists to industry leaders are asked to reflect and build on the future of the music industry in Nova Scotia. The NSMW 2022 conference will host sessions that will explore the future of the music industry, the value of domestic success, the music industry’s responsibility to climate mitigation, and diversifying your revenue streams.
Music Nova Scotia brings delegates from around the world and across Canada to see the incredible talent Nova Scotia has to offer. The organization's mandate to grow the local industry continues with an exciting partnership with KL Management (Katrina Lopes), the management behind artists including Shawn Desman, Kayla Diamond, RadioClub, and TiKA. Lopes will be providing mentorship to African Nova Scotian artists showcasing at NSMW. Says Lopes, “mentorship is an important cornerstone to success in any industry but is even more impactful for historically marginalized groups.” This program will be offered to all African Nova Scotian artists showcasing at NSMW. More information about the program will be provided in the coming months.
Take part in the event this year with the NSMW Delegate Pass! For a limited time, Music Nova Scotia will offer the Delegate Pass for $100+ taxes and fees ($50 savings). Delegate passes gain access to all NSMW showcases (subject to capacity), conference sessions, mixers, and special events hosted by NSMW. Early bird delegate passes are available until August 2, 2022.
