Music Nova Scotia Announces “Road to NSMW” Programming for Showcasing Artists
(October 10, 2024 – Halifax, NS) Music Nova Scotia is thrilled to announce the Road to NSMW, a series of events intended to ensure our showcasing artists have the skills they need to make the most of their festival experience! Between now and Nova Scotia Music Week, we are hosting the following exclusive events for showcasing artists:
NSMW Performance Coaching with Luther Mallory, in partnership with Support4Culture
Showcasing artists will ensure they're stage-ready with an exclusive performance coaching workshop for NSMW performers thanks to our partners, Support4Culture. Together we will host the JUNO Awards' Master Class performance coach Luther Mallory for his full-day "Destroy the Stage" workshop!
NSMW AMA
Industry and artists are invited to join the Music Nova Scotia staff and Tynan Dunfield from the NSMW Tech team on an informal call to ask anything about Nova Scotia Music Week! We'll walk through the schedule to ensure everyone’s questions answered prior to the event.
NSMW Frenchys Meet-Up
We’re inviting showcasing artists to get their stage fits ready for NSMW and support the circular economy by thrifting with us at Frenchys! The bonus? One lucky NSMW shopper will win the door prize of a $50 Frenchys gift card!
Full details have been emailed to showcasing artists directly. Send us an email for assistance!
Music Nova Scotia would like to extend a huge thank you to NSMW’s Premier and Presenting Partners for helping make this year’s event possible: FACTOR, the Government of Canada, and Canada’s Private Radio Broadcasters, the Province of Nova Scotia, the Town of Wolfville, Acadia University, Labatt, Support4Culture, Dairy Farmers of Canada, and Wine Growers Nova Scotia.
