Ben spent a large portion of his formative years touring the world with Warner-signed, alt-indie band Coasts. Having played prestigious events such as Coachella, Glastonbury and Reading and with a top 20 album and a live-lounge performance under their belts the band split in October 2018 and Ben moved into the world of event management, promotions and festivals. He began managing live bookings at a new venue in his hometown of Norwich and soon found there was a wealth of musical talent and a hunger for more platforms to present it.
In 2019 Ben organised and directed the first Wild Paths Festival. A 23-venue, musical event spread across the city of Norwich, featuring over 230 live acts, a host of conference speakers, visual artists, DJs, food pop-ups and much more. Unfortunately (due to the pandemic) 2020's edition of the new city festival had to be postponed. However Ben, his team and their partners (Summertime Social) managed to organise and deliver a pioneering 'socially-distanced' version of the festival; Wild Fields. An outdoor event featuring 'festivals pods', 3 stages, food pop-ups and 30 live acts & DJs. The event was planned, curated and executed in just over 6 weeks and took place over the weekend of the 12th & 13th of September 2020.
In 2021 Ben and his team delivered another edition of Wild Paths Festival, featuring over 20 venues and spaces around the city (including reinvigorating an old shoe factory, a church and a number of other DIY spaces). The festival included two days of conferences featuring Gilles Peterson and a host of other established figures from across the industry.
Wild Paths returned to Norwich in 2022 and featured headliners Blue Lab Beats, who played a medieval church in the city. Ben and the team are now working on Wild Fields a new socially conscious music festival set in a city-centre park. 2024's headliners include Ezra Collective, Kae Tempest and SBTRKT and a solar-powered bus stage from festival partners Climate Live UK. There's also a number of new projects in the pipeline!

In 2025, Lisa will be showcasing at Your Roots Are Showing (Ireland).
Immersed in the haunting emotion of Gordon Lightfoot's iconic ballad ‘If You Could Read My Mind,’ award winning Canadian Folk-Country troubadour Lisa Richard brings you on an introspective musical journey through miscommunication and heartbreak. The studio recording was inspired by a standing ovation from peers and fans at the Stan Rogers Folk Festival. Scott Ferguson of FMP Matrix (producing, mixing, mastering, drums), Warren Robert (orchestral arrangements, lead guitar) and Dana Westall (bass) joined Richard on the recording to create a magically cohesive sound.
They say heroes come in different uniforms, and for Lisa Richard, that truth holds profound significance. Her song Uniforms (Promises Kept) was born from her personal experience surviving a near-fatal accident. It pays homage to the heroes who come into our lives and leave an indelible imprint.
Promises Kept is produced by CCMA Hall of Famer Jason Barry & Pumpk’n Patch Studios’ Danny Bourgeois. Uniforms achieved rotation on Sirius XM CBC Country radio and was also featured on WSM Grand Ole Opry radio. In 2023, Lisa Richard was the International Singer Songwriter Association (ISSA) International Female Songwriter of the Year - Silver winner. Promises Kept was nominated for the 2022 Country Recording of the Year at the Music Nova Scotia Music Awards.
Richard was nominated for Country Artist of the Year in 2018 at the Music Nova Scotia Music Awards. ‘Uniforms’ was named the 2018 CIOE East Coast Music #1 song of the year. Lisa has won the CBC Searchlight Top 10 Regional Contest (Nova Scotia) and was a nominee for the World Songwriting Awards, multiple Josie Music Awards, FPCM Media International Red Carpet Awards and International Singer Songwriters Association Awards.
“Life has its ups and downs, and we all get a chance to choose how we respond and react to situations,” says Richard. “‘Sunday Confession’ (from Promises Kept, co-written with Rick Tiger & Jeff Wanex) is really about letting go of stuff by the end of the week and getting it off your shoulders or you will start the next week with a Monday morning blue.”

Measha Brueggergosman-Lee is the 2024 recipient of the Governor General’s Performing Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement in Classical Music. She is the first black recipient of this honour and the youngest recipient ever. From an early age, Measha was set on a trajectory that brought her here. Her parents, Ann Gosman and the late Rev. Sterling Gosman, made it their mandate as parents to develop the gifts of all their children. She has always believed her gifting to be from God and, as such, she considers singing an act of worship and her career as evidence of God’s grace and favour over her life.
As the survivor of morbid obesity, divorce, the loss of two babies, two emergency open-heart surgeries, and a hip replacement, Measha is no stranger to hardship but her faith in Jesus has sustained and inspired her to see the joy in all areas of her life, from the personal to the professional. Of her bestselling memoir, Something Is Always On Fire: My Life So Far, published by HarperCollins in 2017, Measha says, “When I titled the book, it felt like every part of my life was in flames. Now, in retrospect, I understand that the fires that rage in my life are there as blessings for me to tend, as opposed to crises for me to tame.”
Measha’s career has spanned decades and seen her invited to perform with the major orchestras of every continent and she is renowned for her classical song recitals and opera performances. Her engaging personality, exceptional musicianship and powerful voice have seen her participate in numerous special events, including the opening ceremonies of the Vancouver Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, Canada Day celebrations on Parliament Hill, and a Royal Command Performance for Queen Elizabeth II.
Inspired to use whatever she had to “keep guns from temples and razor blades from wrists” during the COVID pandemic, Measha presented a series of livestream “COVID concerts,” produced over 30 music videos for various organizations, and donated her album Measha JAZZ to her fans as a way to encourage them through the global crisis. In 2022, she launched The Measha Series of themed virtual concerts and this season, she has collaborated with Jay Vernon and Gabriel Davis to release a double album called LAUREATE which features Live at Westben and Planet Measha, a truly original remix album of the singles from those concerts, featuring a host of multilingual hip hop and spoken-word artists. In March 2024, as her versatility continues to successfully blur the perceived distinction between various musical styles, Measha also released Zombie Blizzard, the highly anticipated album of genre-blurring concert arias composed by her closest musical collaborator, Aaron Davis, to the poetry of her long-time friend, Margaret Atwood.
Measha continues to innovate through her production company, Planet Measha Productions, and serves as the permanent artist in residence for the Canadian opera company, Opera Atelier and a seminary student at Acadia Divinity College, following in the footsteps of her late father and her brother, Rev. Dr. Neville Gosman. She is also the host of “Common Ground - Conversations About God.” She is currently writing a follow up to her memoir and her future goals include a thriving marriage of mutual submission to her husband, Stephen Lee, raising her two sons, Shepherd and Sterling, to become selfless men who laugh easily and love faithfully, and continuing to be put in rooms where she knows the least so she can continue to humbly learn and grow.
